Richard Ginori Pamelo

Coffee Cup

Q: What do you do when one day your professor told you to throw a beautifully made porcelain coffee cup against a brick wall?

A: You throw it as hard as you can and watch it scatter into tiny fragments and puffs of dust.

Porcelain Reconstruction Practice

Found at the local Goodwill, this Pamelo coffee cup was used as an educational tool to practice reconstructing porcelain with Paraloid B-72 and writing related treatment documentation.

Resulting in about 51 recognizable pieces and innumerous unrecognizable flakes, this exercise provided an intriguing challenge.
